Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to the webpage: https://www.google.com/bookmarks/
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see "Bookmark pages more easily. Drag this bookmarklet to the Bookmarks bar of your browser:" and click on the grey colored button that says "Google Bookmark" (or the same button if you have previously dragged the bookmarklet to your toolbar) 


Actual results:

3. Note the response time of the window that opens is 5-15 seconds or more.


Expected results:

4. Response time has always been sub-second in the past.
5. Also note that this performance issue does not happen using IE or Chrome

I can't reproduce this issue - are you still seeing this with Firefox 40 or 41?

Cannot reproduce in Windows 8.1 Firefox 42.0
Cannot reproduce in Windows 8.1 Nightly Firefox latest build.
Requesting confirmation/information from the reporter on resolution.
