It is absolutely ridicules that no java plugin is available for freebsd or
bsd’s like open and net. Only linux has a plugin for mozilla. If you cant work
with the program then what good is it?

Asa: sure mozilla has java. but freebsd doesn't. that's not our fault.

reporter: you're rude. please wait 2 months. Sun just recently made
arrangements with freebsd.org to get normal java for the freebsd community.

my company is currently working on testing java w/ mozilla on freebsd. when
things are working you can be sure someone will mention it.

For the sake of things, i'm verifying this bug. The summary is correct there's
no java plugin. There's no JRE either :-).

Reporter: if you want java in the interim, get the linux jre and linux mozilla
and use linux support on freebsd. this should work.

Oh, and your assertion is wrong. Windows and MacOS have Java Plugins.
