With the move to a purely hosted model in v3, FxOS needs a way for users to manage permissions for web pages, not just for apps. Something like about:permissions or View Page Info -> Permissions on desktop. We might also look to the new Control Center for inspiration here. (I would really like to see our security UX move towards desktop).

Sounds like a feature. Why is this a blocker?
It is and it's supposed to be part of 2.5.

I don't there are any resources to work on this, and since nsec is only landing for developers we can maybe postpone the management of permissions till after 2.5. But we need to keep this as a priority so we can keep new security model moving.

Tim - any chance you could help find a identify a settings app developer here to help out (either for now, or post 2.5?)

I was only approached by Lindsay 12 days ago. There was a meeting talking about what to do for 2.5 and I think we should reflect that on Bugzilla.

I agree that we should reflect the short timeline on bugzilla. The scope has been lessened and it is currently being worked on by both the privacy and part of Pin the Web team to ensure that it is release. We should not need any support from the securities team at this time.

I am removing blocking-b2g per comment above.

Preferably this should be split into two bugs at least -- Gecko part and Setting App UI part.
