http://www.bullseyecrosshairs.com/hlsites4.shtm scrolls very slowly, probably due to the fact it's got several dozen PNG images in a table. IE 5.5 seems to perform fine with the page on my 1200 Mhz AMD. Mozilla (2001122106), however, halts for like 1 second for each movement of the page whereever I scroll around. I have a local copy of the HTML and Images. If the website doesn't have reproducable content when someone goes to verify this bug, email me and I'll forward the Web Archive (saved via IE 5.5) to you.

There are quite a few perf bugs about png images. Didn't find more than one not dealing with table or body background images: bug 116257.

The background fix does not effect this at all. It is very slow.
FWIW, http://www.bullseyecrosshairs.com/newbg8.png is a huge image with a fully opaque alpha channel. Most of the image is just black. --->pngcheck newbg8.png OK: newbg8.png (1565x3949, 32-bit RGB+alpha, non-interlaced, 99.8%)

There is alot more than just the scrolling.. I think. My machine was brought to its knees when loading.. or scrolling using the unfixed Mozilla. I think there is some script being executed to.. or animations. Anyway.. I have fixes in for alpha tiling.. and patblt tiling from other bugs.. and I noticed a huge improvment of speed. I dont think it will get much better as far as tiling goes..unless we cache. I am marking this as fixed because of the noticible difference in speed increase from the other two fixes. My comment above was in reference to another tiling bug fixed.
