As per bug '1174774', we have approval to exchange the current Directory Tile community tile for DE speaking tiles world wide.

Which current directory community tile should be removed? When you said approval, did you want dougt to give it in bug 1174774 before this goes live?

Which current directory community tile should be removed? All "DE" local tiles for community. It's the generic tile with DE language
 
Did you want dougt to give it in bug 1174774 before this goes live? We have all the approvals needed to go live, Darren has approved and given me the green light to move forward. We will be reviewing the tile process with DougT tomorrow. I will send you all a note shortly

Please confirm when this is live.

Those have titles:

I don't think any of them are "community" unless you're referring to all of these Mozilla tiles for the comunnity.

Please exchange for the "Mozilla-Gemeinschaft" tile, and keep that same title name "Mozilla-Gemeinschaft".

Release directory tiles only go to release users. Pre-release directory tiles only go to nightly/aurora/beta users. This affects the amount of users see the tile.

I ended up pushing the tile to both channels. Here's some initial numbers:

pre-release:

OH!!!! So because of the product updates to Directory, it's almost like two distinct tile experiences/ tabs, resulting in the two tiles id#S. So moving forward, I should clarify that we want to run it for release and pre-lease when a product is under updates? Let me know if I am tracking!

Yup that's right. And to be clear, running on pre-release is almost the same as running on release, so running on both takes about double the time to traffic than on just one channel.

I'm not sure if we want pre-release channel to only be used for things that should only be on pre-release as most of the traffic is on release.

E.g., for pre-release, show content for developers and test new features (suggested tiles)

Great point. Since the Community Tile, is for those developers/ pre-release channel, I think we keep moving forward as is. 

However this merits a deeper chat with the team, I will take it offline!
