Description: When the user enters the ftu (through reset of device or flashing the phone) they will come across the language screen first. The screen has regressed today from yesterday, where the formatting appears to have changed. Text is left aligned, bolded and slightly stretched. This appears to have caused bug 1179891 in gaia automation testing. Repro Steps: 1) Update a Flame to 20150702010204 2) Observe languages Actual: FTU language display has changed: further left aligned, bold and stretched Expected: FTU language display has soft font and is framed offset of left-align to center data. This looks intended and introduced by: https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/commit/2528a575c355fa5fea33c86a32ebfb39906d327f NI on Kevin to confirm.

Likely introduced by the switch to components - I wouldn't call it 'stretched', I think the components just use a larger font size. In any case - it's probably best to be consistent across the OS with components here, so I'm not sure if I want to fix this - or leave as-is.

I would only call this a bug if FTU has CSS that explicitly makes those labels bigger than they appear elsewhere in Gaia (and I don't think it does, but haven't checked). Feel free to resolve invalid if that turns out not to be the case.
Can we get a visual review here?

Sending it over to Peter to take a look. Thanks and sorry for the delay!
Flags: needinfo?(firefoxos-ux-bugzilla) → needinfo?(pla)
I'm going to NI Przemek who is responsible for the design of the components. In the meantime, I can confirm that the new type is uniformly larger (~28.5px instead of 27.5px), not stretched.
Flags: needinfo?(pla) → needinfo?(pabratowski)
Looks like the font is slightly larger but more unified with other similar components that Kevin is adding. Makes sense to me, I don't see anything broken here.
