Sean created TOR wayfinding signage using the TTC stations - Since the Toronto office refresh that signage is a bit out of date. We'd love to have it updated so we can place new wayfnding signage around the same time as we install art in that office (mid-September).

Hi Pauline, 

I checked in with Sean on this. His suggestion was to hold off on updating the signage until it had been shared with other Toronto folks for feedback. If the updates are needed immediately, we should be able to get them done. 

What timing are you looking at for this? Since you mention September, it seems like we might have a little bit of time.
As a side note, it would be nice to get an SVG version as well, to let me update http://yyz-conf-free.paas.allizom.org/  :)

Hi Jennifer - I just realized the ball was in my court to reply to your last question, sorry about that! We did confirm in early August that the TOR office is on board for the art program (including the TTC style decals on the conference rooms, a mural and this wayfinding signage) and so I think we're good to move ahead with an update on the wayfinding signage. 
The art will be installed tomorrow; conference decals and mural will be completed in Q4. Let me know the time frame to expect this, thanks so much.

This link no longer seems to be working, but I remember from when it was originally posted that the office in the top right corner wasn't labeled. Is there any reason for that? It would be nice to add it if we can. It's called Bessarion.

The room in question is just labeled "lounge". The floor plan is dated March of this year so it should be up to date (I can double-check with Becca if anyone doesn't think that's correct).

A new request for this wayfinding piece: We'd like to put three of these up in the office for actual use as wayfinding signage. Wondering if you can add a "you are here" dot - and do three versions of that (one for each location)? We'd like to place one poster outside of Pape, one poster outside of Castle Frank and one poster between Spadina and High Park. Let me know if it's possible for you to do that. Size will probably be something like US exec size (11"x17"). Thanks!

I was actually doing this and was wondering about the locations of the dots. Doesn't look correct to me as the pape and castle frank locations seem very close together:

Yay! Thanks so much - Those locations were given to me by Becca. I know Becca/Jennie didn't think we needed one at front desk, not sure about back door - We can make adjustments, we just need someone actually in the office to confirm what would be more accurate, preferably with Becca so everyone is on the same page? Can Matej or someone on your team in TOR do that for us?
Hi Becca - Can you review locations for accuracy (see attachment in comment 22 and Sean's comments in comment 21) with someone from the Creative team (who is in the office) and then let us/Sean know in the bug? Thanks!

Hello all,

After asking Ryan Feeley about his thoughts on this signage, this is what we can up with that would make sense for visitors without confusing them.

1) Remove the "You Are Here" between High Park and Spadina. Keep Castle Frank and Pape signs where they are. 
2) Add 1 "You Are Here" by the back for doors and another one by the front entrance.

All signs will be facing the same direction in the different locations.
What do you all think?

Just want to confirm the red dots on here (they will be individual map files)

There was one to be outside Pape, but I was wondering if we shouldn't move that to the North-East corner up by Bessarion since the Castle Frank map area covers the common kitchen area?
