- Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit
- Mac OS X 10.10

STR:
1. Start Firefox
2. Click Hello icon
3. Click Get started
4. Visit a webpage (eg: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/hello/)
5. Click Hello icon
- notice the context appears
6. Open a new tab
7. Click Hello icon
- notice the context from last visited page appears


Expected results: No context appears on about: pages.

Actual results: Context will appear for some pages, not all
eg:
Context appears - about:newtab
Context does not appear - about:home

Tracked and added "regression" keyword.

Mark, looking at the attachment there is some inconsistencies in when the last context is shown and when it isn't when opening new tabs. Do you think this could be easy to fix for FF40? Thanks.

I'd prefer _not_ to fix this for Fx40 (too late in the cycle anyway) and I believe the severity of this regression is low.

Fx41 is a possibility; we'll request uplift once we've got a fix landed on m-c.

I agree. I have untracked 40 and marked the release as wontfix.

Mike, here is another one that I will wontfix for FF41 as it does not seem to be a release blocking scenario. Is there a possibility to get a fix in Aurora42?
