I'm not sure why yet, but when I extract strings, the template file javascript.pot has no strings. It still has the po file templates. This bug covers figuring out why the file has no strings, and fix it. I think this will be about 2 points of work.
Did this ever get figured out? Do we have strings in javascript? If so, then this is probably a big deal and should get fixed soon.
This was fixed by the puente changes.
