pairing a z3c to a MBP/OSX10.10.3 works, but file transfer always fails and once crashed the galley app. Also, I cannot browse the device from OSX.
This is not the component you are looking for.

Nick, Did you enable file transfer on Mac as following? == 5. Why can't I send a file to or receive a file from my Mac? If you would like to share files to Mac, the file-transfer function should be enabled beforehand. 1. Click the Bluetooth icon at the top-right corner of the screen 2. Select "Open Bluetooth Preferences" from the drop down menu, then click the "Sharing Setup..." button at the bottom right of the dialog that opens 3. Make sure the "Bluetooth Sharing" checkbox is enabled. Please see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH10786 for more information. [1] https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/Bluetooth#FAQ

Transfer from OSX to B2G works (but times out in OSX, so not perfect). Transfer from B2G to OSX does not work. That support page from Apple is for OSX 10.8. For newer 10.10 use [0]. [0] https://support.apple.com/kb/PH18969?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US I got it working: On OSX: System Preferences > Sharing > Check Bluetooth Sharing
