Steps to reproduce:

Reinstalled newest 41.0a2 (2015-07-06) Firefox Dev. Aurora x64
Created new profile
Installed newest (2.6.9.1) Adblock Plus
Turned on 'Show up in Adblock icon on status/tool bar ' in Adblock configuration

Configuration
Notebook ACER Aspire 5738
Core 2 Duo P8880 CPU, 
ATi Radeon Mobility HD4570 GPU
Intel GM45 Express Chipset
Windows 7 Home Premium (with newest updates)
Installed language: Polish (both Windows and Firefox)

Additional info: on Firefox 39.0 everything works fine with same Adblock Plus version
Installed newest CCleaner, not used after Firefox reinstall
Newest uBlock Origin works properly on both Firefoxes


Actual results:

Adblock icon not showing up in status bar 
Option in Addon configuration "Show Adblock plus icon on tool bar (translated, original - Wyświetlaj ikonę Adblock plus na pasku narzędzi)" automatically unmarks
Option "Show Adblock plus icon on status bar" still marked



Expected results:

Adblock icon should be displayed on status bar
Options in Adblock configuration shouldn't change automatically
