I downloaded Firefox from getfirefox.com and when I try to install it my anti-virus says it is infected with iBryte.
Does firefox bundle iBryte? Is this a false positive? Is there something on my computer hijacking my downloads? Why does it do this?
During installation a window pops up saying "Access denied" to 7-zip.

Hi Lawrence, looks like Twister antivirus has a false positive. Who is the person that handles these reports?

I sent the following request to support@filseclab.com today:
I work for Mozilla as a Firefox release manager. We received a bug report stating that Twister falsely identifies the Firefox installer as infected with iBryte. We do run AV scans on all binaries before publishing and have verified that the installer referenced is not infected. We also have no current issues like this with other AV companies. Can you please investigate this assumed false positive? Our bug tracking system is open so you can see the issue and interact with both the submitter and our engineers directly in Bugzilla.

Thank you,
Lawrence Mandel

False positive of your AV, it's not Mozilla problem.
Report it to AV devs.
