I received a Flame at Whistler for dev testing, have downloaded the b2g repo, configured and built as flame-kk and flashed to the device. All vanilla code, no local patches, etc. Thinking I'd set a custom wallpaper, I fired up the browser, went to [0], long-pressed the blue lock-screen image and tapped "Save Image" from the context panel. I get a notification "Download complete" for |lock-640x427.jpg.jpeg|, but if I tap it then I get an error panel saying: Unable to open ------------------------------- There is a problem opening lock-640x427.jpg.jpeg. Would you like to save the file or delete it? I can then tap the button labelled "keep file", exit the browser to Settings -> Downloads and tap the line item for the image that I kept, and get another context panel with line items for "Open", "Share", and "Set as wallpaper". Tapping "Open" produces the same error panel above. Tapping "Share" or "Set as wallpaper" gives me a different error panel both saying the same thing: Unable to share ------------------------------- No provider found Finally, if I back out to Settings -> Display and under Wallpaper tap the lower right Icon that looks like an Image with an Edit symbol thinking to set the wallpaper that way, the Icon briefly flashes blue, then returns to it's normal brown-ish color and nothing happens. I'm assuming I've built wrong, and haven't had time to figure out remote debugging yet, so jamie asked me to file this for tracking. I was not able to reproduce the issue on Flame. I couldn't locate the build used on comment 1, so I used a build from today, as well as a build on 7/4. No luck in reproducing the issue. I was able to open the said image via tapping on notification or via Settings > Downloads, as well as set the image as wallpaper. Perhaps the image was not successfully downloaded for the issue written. If it is downloaded correctly, it will show up in Gallery app. Reporter, could you please try again? I re-synched the repo, clobbered, rebuilt and re-flashed and the trouble went away. :-/ So while I'm not sure if I stepped on something the first time, or if I'd pulled bad source at a particular point, but I can close this now.
