Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0
Build ID: 20150629130352
Steps to reproduce:
1. Make sure the user agent string is "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0"
2. Open https://addons.mozilla.org/zh-TW/firefox/addon/adwaita/ to install the extension.
This problem was reported here: https://github.com/gnome-integration-team/firefox-gnome/issues/336, but we think this is an issue in addons.mozilla.org server that we cannot resolve in the extension itself.
Actual results:
It says "Not available for your platform" even if its install.rdf file contains <em:targetPlatform>FreeBSD</em:targetPlatform>.
https://addons.mozilla.org/zh-TW/firefox/files/browse/317660/#L66
Automatic update in Firefox is broken.
Expected results:
I should be able to install the extension without clicking "Install for Linux anyway" or manually building or downloading the .xpi file. Automatic update in Firefox should work.

Product: addons.mozilla.org → addons.mozilla.org Graveyard
Will this problem be fixed? It causes Firefox UI to be broken every a few upgrades because my theme (adwaita) cannot be automatically updated.

I doubt this bug will be prioritized by the dev team anytime in the future. If you can contribute code yourself or find someone who can, this is the place to get started: https://github.com/mozilla/addons-server
