Mozilla Mach-o build key binding does not work all the time. When the focus is on the homepage, most Command-keystroke does not work. For example, Command-N does not open a new window. Command-W does not close a window.

reporter--What build are you using? I don't see a problem if I go to http://www.mozilla.org/search.html and put my caret inside the textfield there (using mozilla debug build from today on Mac OS9). Can someone else confirm this problem?

Does this happen if you try opening every menu once (ie click on the file menu, the edit menu, etc). first?

if you click on all the menus at least once, this bug should go away. the reason is that even though our code is still failing to trap the cmd-key, the OS picks up the ball and sends us a carbonevent. The key is finding why we're dropping the ball. I know exactly where it's happening, just not why.
