Is it possible to have a different app icon when kinderfox is enabled? This would provide a visual indicator that kinderfox is enabled as opposed to the full, standard Firefox.

Without looking into this myself, I imagine this would be very hard... This is also part of a bigger technical question of understanding when we are in "kinderfox" mode as opposed to a more generic restricted profile mode.

Define: app icon Where is this "app icon" displayed?

(In reply to Mark Finkle (:mfinkle) from comment #2) > Define: app icon > > Where is this "app icon" displayed? I assumed this meant the icon displayed in the launcher/home screen/app switcher (a.k.a. the one we define in our android manifest).

From all I have seen it is not possible to dynamically change the app icon that is shown in the launcher (ignoring app updates). Inside the app (in action bars and such) we can obviously show whatever icon we want - but making all these changes can be expensive. Unfortunately there's no Android resource qualifier for "restricted profile".
