It would be useful to have the keyboard key labels show upper vs. lower case characters depending on the shift key state, i.e., on what will be typed when I press the button. (Behavior consistent with both Android and iOS 9, fwiw).
I wrote a FxOS add-on for this: https://github.com/fwenzel/fxos-addon-keyboard-show-case And I can probably patch Gaia if this has the thumbs-up from UX.
It appears, this has been fixed just this week: bug 965211.
