Settings and help not available (greyed out) as well. In tab view, page thumbnails are rendered correctly after being selected (note: 100+ tabs are open). Restarting fennec does not solve the problems.

This could be bug 1151102, which points to bug 1158309 which is fixed on 40, but not 39. Can you repro on 40+?
