Still reproducible for me with a apprunner built today from CVS (reopening bug).
What system did you try with?

I just noticed that I'm a little unclear at 3. in the "steps to reproduce"-list.
One should click on the word "tools" in the menubar to get the strange
behaviour.
I just noticed that I reproduced the bug in a different way than described at
first. The one above fails to show any error. The new way is:

1) run apprunner.exe
2) Open editor by choosing File->New->Blank Window from the menu
3) In editor click at tools in the menubar

I can't reproduce this any more. May have been fixed during the months since
anyone last looked at it. I'll mark it as FIXED anyway.
