Hi Team, We are trying to measure FPS [Frames per second] in firefox browser using layers.acceleration.draw-fps=true through about:configs settings but it seems this is showing incorrect values for fps. At top left corner it shows three values [look at attached screenshot]. First value is FPS but its showing some random values and on doing mouse hover on that number it decreases/increases very frequently. Please let me know how can we get exact values of FPS through this tool.

Jeff, you provided some feedback in the similar bug 1052346. Does this seem like a separate issue?

For what it's worth, I tried using the FPS counter a few months ago and ended up concluding it was bogus. That or its definition of "FPS" doesn't mean something useful.

I think FPS might be broken on Windows because of partial present. i.e. We don't include the FPS counter in the region that needs presenting.

So do you means to say we can't calculate correct FPS in firefox browser. Is there any alternative for this ?
