I couldn't find a dup for this.
Using 1/6 build on Win 2000 and Modern skin.
When I load a message that takes a long time, the stop button always shows the
disabled image. I can click on it to stop the load but the image never changes
state. The text does change state.

this patch contains changes to the classic theme as well as the modern theme.
