I loaned t-w864-ix-001 to cmanchester in bug 1184852, but moving the machine to the tester_loaner OU only changed the cltbld and root passwords, not the VNC password.

Was this a one-off failure, or is the GPO missing a VNC step here?

Is there a w864 machine I could use for testing?
t-w864-ix-001 was in this state again today (another loan), but rebooting it again fixed the password. I'll add that to the loan instructions in the interim.

markco: feel free to grab any idle w864 machine if you need it to test/fix this.
Only portion of the GPOs are being applied on the reboot. This is related to :

That causes the DCs taking a moment to catch up and agree on with which OU the machine is currently resides.

Anyone know if t-w864-ix-002 is bein used for anything? It's been out of the pool for 73 days?
That must be my bad. I disabled that machine to poke around for this bug. I will reenable it now.
Disabled the slave for the moment.

This slave needs to be re-imaged in order to return it from the loaner OU and to avoid the situation when the programs installed for testing are affecting the results of the jobs that will run on it (noticed quite a few orange jobs lately).

So please let us know if you still need this machine.

I knew better. I have kicked off a re-image, and I will check on it later. If it is good I will re-enable it.

I have reimaged the machine. There seems to be a graphics issue. However, while i was looking at it, it picked up tests. I have disabled it in slavalloc.
