User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/43.0.2357.134 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: I'm using Thunderbird 38.1.0 with Lightning 4.0.1 and "Provider for Google Calendar" 1.0.4 on a Win8.1 machine. In Google Calendar, I added a recurring event to 2015-08-17, repeating daily until 2015-08-21 (in my main calendar). Sync in Lightning, it displays the 5 events. Then I delete the single event on 2015-08-18. Sync in Lightning. Actual results: Lightning still displays the 5 events, including the event on 2015-08-18. Expected results: Lightning should display 4 events, not the event on 2015-08-18.

This is likely the following bug. Please try the xpi there, if that doesn't work feel free to comment here again.

I'd like to "try the xpi", but I don't know how. If you can direct me to a page that explains what I have to do to "get the xpi", I'll be happy to test it. (I'm a SW developer, but have never worked on a Thunderbird plugin.)
