Steps to reproduce:

Using a Flame which I flashed about a month or so ago.
Software: Boot2Gecko 3.0.0.0-prerelease
Last Updated: 08/08/2014

Tap "1 update available"
Popup appears
"1 update available"
"System update: 88.41MB - REQUIRED"
Tap "Download"
Open notifications
"Uncompressing" / "This can take a few minutes"
Wait...



Actual results:

Update does not install.
Notification goes back to "1 update available"


Expected results:

Update should install.

Probably is it related to bugs https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1155704 and similar ones.
Do you still have the problem if using latest base image (v18D_v4)?

I have recently re-flashed my Flame, but I haven't seen any updates since then so can't test to reproduce this bug yet.

Base image 18Dv4? I would say the latest update by OTA would be around August, maybe a little bit later, so from v18Dv4 and without shallow flashing more recent Gecko/Gaia, you should get one update and then no more as OTA is frozen for now.

Yes, I did 18v4 on 8th December. I will keep an eye out for updates (are there going to be any more?) and re-open this or another bug if it happens again. Thanks for the replies.

Blocking bugs here https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/QA/Flame_OTA#Nightly now looks to be solved, so if OTA isn't back yet, I've no bugs under the hand about why and if no bug exist about it, it's still possible to open one.

From what I know, they were working on FOTA updates for Flame to solve spaces problems.
