Steps how to reproduce:
1. <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided>
2. Click FireFox Symbol
» guided bug report page appears
   Bug: a nonsense text line
"Firefox is poorly translated into my native language."
        will be shown

Additional info
a) That text line explains nothing, is worrying instead of helping
b) a click on that line will link to Product: Mozilla Localizations,
but why do we have an extra prominent link to localization bug
reports? And that without any explication?
   My recommendation: drop it!
c) This is a follow up to Bug "1170914 - Menu 'QA → File a bug'
leads to page what even does not show a SeaMonkey link

i don't agree that that text and link is useless or nonsense - localisation is an first step for many mozilla contributors and it's an important part of our ecosystem.

i'll check with gijs about this when he's back.

That text with link can become useful with a short explication "Click this for translation errors, fill input line below for other problems". Even a tooltip might be enough.

that sounds reasonable.

gijs, do you have any thoughts on this proposal to change the l10n text on the guided bug form?

Maybe we can change the text to something like "If you spotted a spelling, grammar or other textual error in your translated copy of Firefox, you can <report a localization issue>." with the bit in <> being a link? Then we can prefix the text above the input field with something like "Otherwise, ...".

The reason I'm suggesting we change the text is that right now it is all a link, which makes it more prominent than the text above it (which will arguably apply to more people who see this page) and the text below it (which says what the input box is for).

That said, I'm not a UX person, so perhaps you want to ask someone else... thoughts? :-)

that's a nice improvement; let's go with that.
