Details

If we detect regressions on a merge (or a revision which has multiple commits), we would not like to trigger jobs for it automatically, since it will involve a sheriff attention, and some manual triggering. So, perfherder should be able to determine if a revision is a merge and not trigger jobs for it.
while we don't have this, the use case for a robot assisted sheriff is not in our plans for the upcoming quarters.
