It would be a nice usability touch to provide a keyboard shortcut to activate the permalink view, preferably 'y' as GitHub uses so that it's familiar.

On discussion with Erik, we would prefer to use the accesskey HTML attribute so we don't break type-to-search like Github does.

rhelmer likes this general idea, too. He'd like something to reduce the number of steps to get to copying a URL: perhaps something you YouTube's Share button, which shows a field with a URL highlit, so then you can just hit command-C and you're done.

DXR is no longer available. Searchfox is now replacing it.
