User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:42.0) Gecko/42.0 Firefox/42.0 If there is a openning window for a bookmark on the homescreen, people would expect to show the same window for next time launching the same bookmark. But, if you follow a link to another page of the same site, it would open a new window for the next time launching the same bookmark. User may expect to reload the URL of the bookmark with the same window.

Flagging UX to review. If you don't navigate to a new page after opening a bookmark it'll re-use the same window from first launch, comment 0 only occurs if you navigate away from the page that was bookmarked.

Seems like the behaviour is inconsistent. NI Francis to take a look.

Peter is correct. This is the expected behavior. If you open a bookmarked (pinned) URL and leave that tab open, tapping the bookmark (pin) again will re-use the existing open tab. If you open a bookmarked (pinned) URL and then navigate to a different internal URL, tapping the bookmark (pin) again will open a new tab for the bookmark URL. Thanks for pinging the UX team!
