Assignee: Bill McCloskey Link to add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-video-and-audio-dow/ Contact info for add-on: AMO Add-on ID: feca4b87-3be4-43da-a1b1-137c24220968@jetpack How well does it work?: 0% Steps to reproduce working features: - Visit Youtube video and click on toolbar item. Can choose options to download video in various formats. Also has some ffmpeg integration. Steps to reproduce broken features: - Toolbar doesn't activate when visiting YouTube videos. Any obvious performance problems? No Chromium version: No. Note that bug 1075249 was also for e10s compat and was closed. However, the problem seems to have reappeared. Also, this is an SDK add-on, so it's surprising that it doesn't work.

I'm going to revise this: the add-on does work in e10s. It just has some problems that appear in e10s and non-e10s. I think the issue is that Youtube sometimes transitions between the home page and videos without an actual navigation. The add-on doesn't catch this and so it doesn't recognize the video. If you hit reload, it works.
This issue is now fix; https://github.com/inbasic/iaextractor/commit/3d3fc51f77a598d77a435222cf61d5894e242ff8

With Firefox 57 only WebExtensions are permitted and are, by default, e10s compatible.
