Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0
Build ID: 20150629114848
Steps to reproduce:
Open a link in an external app (e.g. email, happens with more than one).
Actual results:
Intermittently this causes download notifications for everything in the download history to appear in the notification drawer and the browser becomes unresponsive for several seconds.
Expected results:
No notifications should have been sent.
I saw an issue on desktop where I cancelled and download and every time I took some action (I think it was load a page), the download would resume - I wonder if this is related.

Yes. This is tracking+ and I did not want this in your backlog, causing you stress and guilt for not finding the time to work on it.
Flags: needinfo?(mark.finkle)
I haven't seen it for a while, so I assume not.
