I encountered a playback stall playing Netflix this evening. I had my Firefox profile on an SD card (to cause slow disk I/O). Netflix's player's progress bar and current playback position seemed wrong; the controls showed the currentTime to be near the middle of the media, but the time remaining counter showed not much time remaining. jya: Do you get anything useful from the log? Is this something you'd expect to be fixed in the new MediaFormatReader/MSE?
Not from the log, bug I can't see how: " Dumping Audio Track Decoders: - mLastAudioTime: 2080.085311 Reader 0: 1d701400 ranges=[(2062.080000, 2096.042666)] active=false size=278250 " could ever happen. The only time we could be with the reader not being active is if it doesn't have the data we're going to decode next. and that's not the case here. Unless sourcebuffer.abort() was called. will look at it on Monday
Is it still the case in 41? nothing we can do about 39 now.
I've not seen this in 41. I think I only ever saw this twice maybe, in hundreds of playbacks.
Lets just close it.
