118728 - Deleting an html e-mail sometimes impossible Win builds

sometimes deleting an html mail is impossible. status bar shows "document:done
(xx secs), progress indicator stops at the middle of the progress bar. a copy of
the message is created in the Trash folder, but tje message never disappers from
Inbox folder. drag-drop operation causes same event. deleting the folder that
containing the undeletable mail is OK.
Actual Result: undeletable mails. not so important but uncomfortable.
Expected Result: deleting of the unwanted mails.
Build ID: Mozilla 2002010703, installed from mozilla-win32.zip, Win98 SE.
Additional: All settings are default except mail servers, default charset iso
8859-9, mails came from [e-mail], occuring period is not frequently,
none of the plugins are installed.
 November release is containing the same bug, but result is freezing of Mozilla.

you using an imap server or pop?

Thanks for the forward mail. I had some problems opening the folder with this
mail after i saved it to local but i can confirm the deleting problem: i am not
able to delete (get rid of) the folder that was created with this name. I
created two folders : bug # 118728 with the mail that you've fwd and the one
that had the attached mail name , the latter one is causing problems.Every time
i am starting mozilla the folders reappears. Could you please attach another
mail to this bug report? Thanks.

interesting enough, the folder charset of the "bad" folder is set to "Arabic"
and there is no way to change it: the dlgbox won't close by OK. I remeber the
bug where the Inbox charset would be set to arabic and the contents of it would
be blank. This was happening when the profile was created with 6.0, the
deleting(renaming) of summary file helped.

I tried some editing with this mail and when i delete square brekets "[]" from
the file name i can delete this mail. Bülent, does your original mail contains
those chars? Please attch the "bad' mail to this bug report.

Thanks for attaching the "bad" mail, i haven't had problems though with deleting
it from my Local folder with 2002-10-10 build.

I clicked "Commit" to soon. The mail # 2 has no problem with deleting but the
mail #1 and #3 are impossible to delete. Editing them didn't help. Naoki, could
you please look into it?
