I'm not sure of the exact steps that led to this, but when playing music, my fxos3.0 Aries would play through the speakers audibly, but when connected to a set of head phones, was inaudible.  After rebooting the phone, the headphones worked fine.  Sorry for not having STR, but wanted to make a note of it in case others were seeing this.
Moving to the system app, since they might have a better idea of what's going on here.
