OK, with this merged we can now play around with it in dev. I managed to submit a Settings blob, and set-up a rule on the "Settings" product to return data from it, eg: https://aus4-dev.allizom.org/update/3/Settings/16.0/20121005155445/Darwin_x86_64-gcc3-u-i386-x86_64/hu/release-localtest/default/default/default/update.xml?force=1 There's still a couple of follow-ups here before things will really start working: * bug 1193877 to get some humans access to the admin ui * bug 1187983 to figure out system accounts (for automated data submission). This work may be augmented if we decide to include system addons in the same update ping, but that will be dealt with elsewhere. Thanks for writing this patch Tarek :).
