118875 - mozilla 0.9.7/0.9.8 hangs on windows NT 4.0/2000 after using imap over ssl

Every time I check an account that does imap over secure conncection, the
mozilla hangs completly. Sometimes I can close the window, but the process is
still there eating up CPU cycles, but most of the times it stays on the desktop
and there's nothing I can do, but kill the task with the task manager.
I appears only after the secure imap is used.

I'm running a  Windows NT 4.0 service Pack 6a
Atholon 900Mhz, 512MB of RAM

Reporter: Can you still reproduce the bug with Mozilla 0.9.8? Is that IMAP
server reachable via the Internet and if so, what is the hostname?

Yes, the bug is still with the 0.9.8 and now on a windows 2000 professional too.
The imap server is a vainilla Red Hat 7.2 Linux distribution. One of the servers
is on my intranet, the other, also a RH 7.2, is accesible at mail.roshka.com.py,
both of them with imap 2000c of Washington University.

Tried logging in to mail.roshka.com.py (with invalid username/password) using
IMAP+SSL. I got a warning saying "Could not verify this certificate because the
issuer is not trusted". Other than that, I didn't see a hang.

Reporter: When you check your mail from mail.roshka.com.py, do you see that
error message? Does the hang occur when you enter an invalid user/password?

If the hang still occurs with an invalid user/password: Can you try to create a
new profile? Start mozilla with 'mozilla.exe -ProfileManager' (just create a new
test profile) and please try if it hangs.

I created a new profile and it worked perfectly, then I copied my mail files and
preferences to the directory of the new profile, and back to the same.
Is it posible that my profile files are damaged?
What should I do? what part of the directory is really important, what could be
causing the hang?

Marking INVALID as reporter confirmed this bug is caused by invalid profile
files and works fine with new profile.
