Steps how to reproduce with SeaMonkey DE 2.39a1 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:42.0 from official download area) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build 20150728011950 (Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit:
1. Launch SM Mail/News
2. to an existing POP3-Account add 2 folders "Test100" and "Test200"
From context menu after rightclick on account header in folders pane
3. Click folder "Test100" → <control>+click "Test200"
» Both folders selected
4. Rightclick on "Test100"
Expected: context menu appears
Actual: nothing
» Still both folders selected
5. [Del]
Expected: Warning "Really? .... no undo ..." appears
Actual: nothing
Additional info:
---------------
a) I tested with 42.0a1 (2015-07-29), works fine
b) also other context menu functions like "open 8all selected) in new
TABs work fine in TB, but not in SM.
c) I will check for DUPs later, currently Bugzilla has some hickup ;-)

That's simple: tells absolutely nothing, no entries in Error Console.

Please see my comments in "Bug 1278152 Context menu does not open for multiple highlighted news-servers, newsgroups; e-mail-accounts."
ANY action is impossible for multi-selection. All this works fine in TB.
OS: Windows → All
Summary: Can not delete/unsubscribe multiple selected folders/accounts → Can not do any action for multiple selected folders, email-accounts, newsservers

Note Well: This is NOT a problem in Thunderbird 45.1.1. It appears to be strictly a SeaMonkey MailNews problem.

Some improvement observed with installation of unofficial (by wg9s) De SeaMonkey 2.53.13 beta 1 pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0 Build 20220608203253 (Newly created User Profile Default Classic Theme) on German WIN10 64bit:
Nor rightclick in step(4) (originalreport)shows up a context menu with 2 items "mark as read" and "compress" folders.

Situation has changed, we now have options
- Compress
- Mark as read
So WFM for now
For still missing Items see "Add some options to context menu for multiple selected folders, email-accounts, newsservers"
