1190068 - Requesting for vouchees deletetion

Recently, I deleted my mozillians profile accidentally! This bug is not for restoring that profile!

While I was browsing profile of people who has been vouched by me, there my name is shown as "Unknown User" (For example, see this - https://mozillians.org/en-US/u/Meraj/ )

It seems worse to me as other people won't be able to see, who have vouched them and their accountability!

So, I have a suggestion. Can we still make the previous name remain(Don't need to remain the usernames link, just username will remain). So that it doesn't hamper people who has been vouched by some ex mozillians/mozilla staffs who have deleted their mozillian profile!

If this can't be done, I would like to request of deletion of vouches that had been done by me! (I have vouched 5 people till now!)

Recently, I have signed up again for mozillians but still, in my vouchees profile it is showing unknown user, which should not happen.

William, any thought on this one?

Hi Ikram

Most systems assign new users unique ID's such that one user is attached to one ID therefore recreating a new account will not get you the same results.

First username could be ikram : 346
And the new one could be ikram : 7687676

Nemo and Tasos should be looking at this. This seems to be something that we need more and more now. Unfortunately the ability to remove a vouch from a profile incurs unaccounted changes. I am adding this to our backlog for further review.

FYI: Tasos, I did this before, so I did it again. Hope I didn't unleash any bug dragons.
