User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/45.0.2454.15 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: 1 - Devtools settings, Default color unit: Hex 2 - Edit a color in Inspector: (eg #c8c8c8) 3 - Use inspector normally for a while... 4 - Check entry made at #2 Actual results: rgb(200, 200, 200) Expected results: Despite the bad wording, I think "Default color unit" means display colors in this format, please. Bad wording: Choice of format is not a "unit" - "format" isn't great either - "representation"?
I saw this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=777036 which is marked a dupe of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=775135 (debatable dupe if you ask me). So I guess this is a regression? If not then it's plain and simple "broken".
