I'm seeing one of my accounts generate "Login failed / invalid password" interactions. The password is correct, and I'm checking the box to save it. Once this starts happening it repeats - i.e. keeps asking me for the password. Restarting TB usually clears it (without requiring password to be re-entered, i.e. the saved password was fine). One odd symptom is that the count in the Inbox is often correct, e.g. it will show 4 unread messages, but they don't show up in the listing of the inbox. Quit/restart then fetches the messages correctly. The mail server is dovecot (IMAP) and so far I'm only seeing this on one of my accounts on the server. The fix doesn't appear to be time based, i.e. it doesn't matter how many times I tell it to Retry, or enter the correct password, but as soon as I restart it clears for a while. I'm happy to collect a log if someone gives me clear instructions on how to collect what they want. Its not step-by-step repeatable, but I'm seeing it about once or twice a day. I just upgraded to 40.0 via the automatic upgrade (beta update channel), but I was seeing this prior to the upgrade, which I'm pretty sure was 38.0

Wayne, I'm on 50.0b3 and havent seen this behavior for a while. I think the right process (since noone else commented) is to close it, if that was wrong, please reopen :-)
