To reproduce:
- Launch apprunner
- Open the Manage Bookmarks window
- From the Bookmarks menu, select Add Current Page

Result: The Manage Bookmarks window is filled with the same color as the toolbar
in apprunner

Expected result: The bookmark should be added and the manage bookmarks window
should be refreshed to show the just-added bookmark

some info: the bookmarks are adding just fine to the window. This is just
the simplest way to reproduce a problem that happens several different ways.
The problem is when the window attempts to repaint itself. You get the blue
color until you mouse over that gtk scrollbar. After that the scrollbar resizes
and the window paints correctly. You can then view the new bookmark.

reassigning to slamm. slamm, can you please fix the summary? It's not
accurate but I don't know how best to state the actual problem.

This book looks related to bug #11822. Are they the same bug?

Don want's to escalate this one to a blocker.
The Manage Bookmarks window is toast anyway because of tree control problems.
My guess is that this specific problem will go away once te tree control
stabilizes a bit.

This works fine in a build from August 25, 1999. Marking fixed.  (Ignore the
tree bustage from today in regards to this bug.)
Bug 11822 = the first add bookmark attempt fails to add the bookmark to the
Bookmarks menu
Bug 11912 = adding a bookmark makes the Bookmarks window go bad

I think they're different bugs. I still see this problem in the Aug 24 build.
Will try to repro in tomorrow's builds.
