See screenshot.

It shows that the time shown in the notification bar is 1hr ahead of the manually set time.

I have this too - same if the time is set automatically. For me the automatic time is set to 12:54 pm and the actual time shown in the status bar is 2:55am.

Ah actually playing around this I see what is happening. In the settings view, it shows the correct time, with the timezone applied. In the status bar, and on the lockscreen it shows the time at UTC+0.
Fixing status to reflect the actual behavior.

I wonder if bug 1164797 and bug 1169154 are related.
Ok OMG. Reboot fixed the time for me. Does this fix it for you tony?

This has been broken for me for at least couple weeks. I was hoping the fix would be in the foxfood update, but I just updated and its still broken. I'll try to debug it a little and report back.

Ok now its solved again. I have no idea. I had a the wrong time for weeks, through multiple power cycle. In trying to debug the issue, setting the time multiple times and turning it off an on, "set automatically" is now showing the correct time. I have no idea what the problem was, and it seems to have gone now... :/

ah well, closing again.
