Confirming issue in the Jan 18th Linux build (2002-01-18-06)
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Attached image Screen shot of problem
Target Milestone: --- → mozilla1.2
I'm seeing this on http://www.darklyrics.com/lyrics/tristania/widowsweeds.html#8 (try selecting «grieve at night» etc), with 2002020714/linux. why mozilla1.2? when we have 1.0.1 and 1.1, isn't 1.2 equal to "future"?
Looks similar to a bug on Windows- Bug 134544
I see this also, under: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020828 It is very annoying, as I tend to select the text that I am about to read. A scroll up or down off the screen and back on will fix it. It does not matter what website is being viewed. It is intermitent (doesn't happen every time it is selected).
Possible dupes: bug 150939, bug 164369, bug 172282.
marking this WORKSFORME because the original URL has changed and is fine now. probably a dupe of bug 164625
