Added receipent then selected attch. Added subject line then selected attachment. Added text in body then selected attch. Only adding jpg files, less than 20. Actual results: TB indicates nonresposive and will sit there all day. Cancel the pgm. Sometimes it works but most of the time it hanges. I now take the long way and list the jpg's, select and indicate - send to mail recieptent. This works every time. Expected results: Attch should have been added to the email. This is how it worked many releases ago. OS - Win 8.1

No. 38.2.0 does not solve the problem. What can I send you to help diagnose this problem.

Does it work OK with *Windows'* started safe mode with networking enabled - win8 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-safe-mode You wrote 'This is how it worked many releases ago". Do you mean it also did not worked correctly in version 31?
It has not worked correctly, for me, for the last few releases. Starting in safe mode did not work.
I have an old laptop that runs xp. TB ver is 24.4 and it works fine for attaching files to an email. What changes were made to handeling attachments since then?
After much searching and reading I disabled Adobe Acrobat 15.8.20082.15957 and the "freeze" is gone. TB loads my documents directly right away. Anyone else solved the problem by disabling Adobe Acrobat? Problem SOLVED until something new arrives. How do we get feed back to Adobe?

TB 38.4.0 freezes when trying to attach documents. If I list the documents and send them to mail recipient it works fine. Very confusing. What debug tools are available to help investigate the problem(s).
