At the page http://testca.netscape.com/legal-button.html, you see a button at
the bottom of the page. When you press the button, you're taken to a an SSL web
site with a cert issued by a test CA. Normally the user would see a dialog
prompting to continue and asking whether or not to permanently trust the new site.

On the Mac it just hangs and eventually exits.

I debugged it somewhat, but now it's beyond my scope of understanding. We try
to open the URL chrome://pippki/content/newserver.xul in a modal window by
calling the window watcher from here
http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/security/manager/pki/src/nsNSSDialogs.cpp#249

Eventually it gets all the way down and calls ShowAsModal here:
http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/embedding/components/windowwatcher/src/nsWindowWatcher.cpp#698

But we never get control back. Looks like another one of those modal bugs.

Javier, is the exit a crash? Does macsbug give you a useful stack?

I'm currently working on NSS 3.4 integration so I don't have a stack trace that
would correspond with the actual trunk.

mpt reported to me, over IRC, that he gets a "Mozilla exited unexpectedly" message.

How would I get a stack trace using MacsBug (which command do I run once I'm in
MacsBug)? I have to force kill the app in order to give control back to
CodeWarrior when running under a debugger.
javi, in Macsbug type either 'sc' --or, if the output is sparse there, try
'sc7'. [without the quotes, of course.]
Does 'stdlog' macro in Macsbug still create a 'stdlog' text file on the desktop
with stack trace, registers, IP, and other goodies? ->jag/critical

wfm on BuildID 2002-02-15-08, MacOS 9.2.2.
Is this the classic skin ShiftFocus recursion bug?
Mac 9.2 crashes only with the classic skin for me. Adding crash, classic and
nsbeta1 keywords.

Works for me. I'm not seeing a crash with Mac 9.2 trunk build with classic or
modern skins. https://pki.mcom.com:9100/tests.html
