From a personal email, filing so I won't forget to investigate:
I have ran into a stumbling block with using the xml httprequest in Netscape
6.x. I can post the DOM to an Apache web server but the iPlanet web server
returns a 400 in 6.1 and a 401/408 in 6.2. It would appear that the request
object is functioning but some header value or something is causing iPlanet to
reject the request. Has this component been tested against an iPlanet 6.1
configuration, is there some server configuration I need to set? I only set the
content-type header with my request and do not include any charset extension.

Arun, you mentioned you have an iPlanet testserver tucked in somewhere...?

Using the testcase in the URL I can verify that POST works as expected. Marking
worksforme.
