I open Thunderbird 38. 01 on  Mac OS 10.04 yosemite 


Actual results:

Consumption of cpu is very expensive 


Expected results:

A console of Yosemite display messages  see a joined file to recover all consumption Thread:          0x30541 (83% cpu over 109 seconds)

The high CPU is only for 109 seconds?
Is this only at startup?
Does the high CPU actually interfere with your ability to use THunderbird or other applications?
Does the CPU lower if you start Thunderbird in safe mode? https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode
