Details

When a user is off line, any tile impressions shown will not be counted. We should have a mechanism to cache tile impressions and report them periodically when the user is on line instead of attempting to report them real time. This would ensure we do not lose any impressions due to network status and can reduce the number of times the user has to connect to our reporting servers to report data. This would also solve the potential privacy leak of being able to track how often a user views new tab page.
