Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_10_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/44.0.2403.155 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
DO : start Firefox
Actual results:
ACTUAL : it crashes on startup.
Expected results:
EXPECT : it starts fine
Details : the issue happens every time on a Macbook Pro 13'' mid 2012 with 16 GB RAM and a SSD. Installed OSX 10.10.4 with latest update. Firefox worked fine until release 39.0.3 but the update to release 40 broke everything.
Trying to create a new profile leads to the same result : crash on startup. Trying to remove and reinstall has no impact : crash on startup. Rebooting my system does not help either.

Additional element :
The CPU inside this MBP is a Core i5 3210M and the "GPU" used is actually the CPU integrated GPU, i.e. Intel HD Graphics 4000

Switching back to Firefox 39.0.3 solves the issue.

Tried with Firefox 40.0.1 and it does not solve the issue. Reverting back to 39.0.3.
Note that I tried with analog hardware on Windows and the issue does not appear, so there's definitely something wrong either in OSX or in Firefox itself.

Looks like the bug is fixed with Firefox 40.0.2 and OSX 10.10.5 so the issue was bound to something in OSX 10.10.4.
