Created attachment 8646778 [details] Sample draft message (This happens when replying to an e-mail sent with CSS font sizes, for example from Outlook) Open the attached message as a draft and try to edit it: <small><small>Smaller</small></small><br> <small>Small</small><br> Normal<br> <big>Big</big><br> <big><big>Bigger</big></big><br> <br> <span style="font-size:9.0pt">9 point</span><br> <span style="font-size:12.0pt">12 point</span><br> <span style="font-size:15.0pt">15 point</span><br> You cannot change the size of the text with CSS defined size. A function "Remove Text Size" similar to "Remove All Text Styles" could be useful. Perhaps all this could be fixed as part of bug 769604, where some work has already been done on replacing the increase/decrease size buttons with a size selection.
Working on bug 769604, I realised that M-C editor support is needed to implement this bug here. nsHTMLEditor::SetInlineProperty() http://mxr.mozilla.org/comm-central/source/mozilla/editor/nsIHTMLEditor.idl#79 http://mxr.mozilla.org/comm-central/source/mozilla/editor/libeditor/nsHTMLEditorStyle.cpp#111 does not support changing sizes on elements with CSS properties. I'm changing the importance to "enhancement".
I'd like to extend the scope of this bug a little to serve are a container for all CSS font size related issues in compose.
