Reproducible with: - Firefox 41 Beta 1 - BuildID: 20150811185633 - Latest Firefox 42 Aurora - BuildID: 20150812004006 Reproducible on: Mac OS X 10.9.5 NOT Reproducible on: Windows 7 x64, Ubuntu 12.04 x86 Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Firefox with a clean profile and choose to sign-in/sign-up to Sync. 2. After sign-in click the hamburger menu button to open the menu, before Sync starts. 3. Wait for the "Sync enabled" notification to pop under the menu button. Expected results: the notification displays over the menu so the user can see it. Actual results: the "Sync enabled" notification pops under the hamburger menu, so the user can see there is a notification there, but not actually see what it says. Notes: - this is not a recent regression as it reproduces also in Firefox 32.0.3.
We now show this panel as a notification.
